Yea, I have cash in hand. Trust me, I know what kind of cash can go into these things. I use to have a 91 lx with a CHP 347. Bought a house so I had to let it go. Now its time for a new one.

I like it. I would low ball him too, at least at first... Just make sure to take a really good look at it. It may not be a original california car. Also look at all the usual places the Foxes get messed up like the back of the drivers seat floor pan and the A pilliars sometimes crack near the top of the windshield etc... Good luck

4200 is ridiculous for that car. 3k tops. i sold my 92 lx with 130k on the clock with hpipe, mufflers, and i think pulleys for 2800 and it was pretty clean. it didnt have ponies though. fools want way to much for foxes these days.

Go up and take a look at the car, drive it ect.. if you reall like it offer him 3500 cash in a envelope. Tell him this is all you could come up with if not I would neg a price looks really clean. I sold my fox for 8000$ up there right before I moved to San Diego. I really wish I would have kept it though...

Thanks for all the replies. I figure 3500 cash in hand should bring this thing home with me. However, if the car is solid I wont go home without it, reguardless of price. I have no problem heading out to the dyno day even though the numbers wont be amazing. Im meeting up with the guy on Thursday so I will post pics if everything works out. -Charlie

you cant have the im buying it anyway attitude. take what your willing to pay, and pay no more than 80% of it. say these exact words "i know waht you want for the car and im going to save you time. instead of i go low and you go high i will tell you waht im willing to pay, xxxx amount of dollars cash right now, if thats not enough tell me and i understand" and be willing to walk. i bought my 95 gt for 4200 dollars and the guy wanted 7k.

btw that is a bone stock fox with 100k miles. i wouldnt pay a dime over 3k for it. im sorry, there is nothing great about a fox that it would hold its value like that. but thats just me.

I've had several Stangs throughout the years, including a few foxes. Low to mid $3k tops. Description doesn't say much about condition of suspension, bottom end or interior. As mentioned above, check the floor pan under the driver seat, and add to that the ash tray door. Its minor but its shows a degree of detail.

Thanks for all the tips. Today is finally the day I get to go check this thing out. I have a price in mind im sticking to after doing some research on other notches in this condition. If all goes well I will have pics up tomorrow.
