Whats the longest without your ride?

Just curious what the longest you guys have gone without your Stang? I can't begin to tell you how much I miss my Mustang and now Mustangs. I got deployed to the Middle East for 8 months and before I got back I sent her off for about 10 grand in toys. I got back and she was still in the shop and then deployed more or less for this trip to San Diego. So it's been nearly a year since I have seen her and man do I miss her!!!!!!! I miss the power, looks, feel, touch, smell, sound, sound system etc etc etc. Also just bought a DSG Mach1 that I had sent to Cali to Eric(02GT) which I have not even seen yet. Bought it off the internet and had it shipped straight to California for another daily driver. I miss mustang events, dyno days, car shows, drag strip, weekend cruising, club meetings, poker runs, tech days, cruise ins, meet and greets etc etc. Forums get my obsession by but it's just not enough. I know most of you military types can relate! tell me I'm not alone here..lol. Withdrawls suckkkkkk-Shane

Yeah I am missing mine right now. Its been about 2 months already with another 4-5 to go. I am having withdraw form mine too.

3mos and counting. im going CRAZY!!!! i got a few more to go. who knows now that we are completely ineffective....lol. maybe we will come home soon. doubt it tho. til then i just sit out here and dream of everything i want to do. buy a new car....make mine faster. how i am gonna do it. think about what it will be like driving the cars....lotsa dreaming.

I think it was 3 days of hell was my longest. I know it's not a 6 month deployment but I have my Ipod with pics in it to calm me down when I missed it.

and then.....you log onto the club forum and see everyone else having fun in your absence! ha ha. Your glad that they are but you a little jelous or upset your not there also like you have been in the past. I see I am def not alone! Friend of mine has this saying.."THIS TOO SHALL PASS". Some movie or something but it's true. Besides..the times away from my babies was the times I could afford to save big bucks for them so I guess it's a good thing every now and then. -Shane

i did a 7 month deployment in late 07/08.... but it was all good, came home with about 12000 even after buying a superchrger....

I think the longest was the 1-2 months after I crashed my V6, and that sucked, because I didn't even have a mustang to look at, other than my dad's. And he never let's me drive it.

The longest I have went was 10 months... I was on cruise of course, on the Abe Lincoln. Stopping in Australia for 10 days to repair the non-skid on the flight deck eased my pain

mine was 1 month when i blew my engine,it took just too long finding a god one and at a good price
