So.. im getting this white smoke coming from my undercarraige after i drive on the free way, i have a feeling its coming from my transmission. its stops smoking after i stop driving on the freeway and just go around town. i have a automatic tranny that working on getting repalced for a awesome 5 speed.

Any one know what this could be or what i can do to prevent it from hapining again?

Sounds like a transmission or rear main seal leak. The oil is probably hitting the exhaust and smoking off. Changed both the Main Seal and Trans Seal on my car this year.....GOODBYE SMOKE!!!

a tranny tail shaft leak would be easy to spot look under the car around that area for caked oil/dirt in a line around the end of the shaft

Just beware. Automatic tranny fluid is very flamable stuff. I had a fire once from tranny fluid leaking on the exhaust.

"white smoke " may be Steam! and not smoke. Usually oil or tranny fluid is blue smoke, white is almost allways steam (water vapor).
Look and see if your radiator fluid is low, also ck your oil, if it's like mudd or chocalate pudding, its water in your oil and you have a head leak.
