Worst Feeling Ever Today

All, I had the worst feeling in the world today.. I took my son to school and he was running and triped and fell down and hit his head. He started crying and me being a dad said get up and stop crying. As I was picking him up from the floor he stopped crying and began to shake alot, Well he was really hurt he went into shock and had a convulsion. Man I thought for a minute I lost my son... About 10 seconds past and he comes too. All the teacher were there to help and my son and I were rushed in the Ambulance to Balboa.. We stayed there for a couple of hours and finally released.. He is back to himself and still wanting to run and play.. Man this is the worst feeling for a New Dad as myself....I understand when they say there is more to come...:( Everyone go out and hug your son or daughter today..

Hey Emilio, glad to hear your son is doing good. I don't know how it feels but I'm sure it was frightening. Did the doctor give a reason why he went into convulsion?

OMG EMilio!

I am sooooo sorry you had to go through that! How is he now? Is this going to be something that happens often? I hope not! How is Monica? How about Vanessa?

He is in my families prayers and we hope everything is fine with him!

glad to hear it trned for the best bro.

But i will warn you now

Thre is a high chance for him to have seizures they migt not happen till he gets older but seizures can be brought on fom a history of head trauma.

Not to frighten you at all but it is true. so be on the look out just in case do some research onseizures and be prepared just in case.

Glad he is alright. Not to steal your thunder but while me, angel, aaron, zafira, and the kids were bowling sat night Erika fell and didnt let go of the ball. It was a 6 lb kids ball but it fell on top of her hand smashing it. My kids are not whiners at all and she cried pretty bad at first. I had her bend her fingers and make a fist and then she kinda chilled out so I thought nothing was wrong other than the fact that it hurt. Well she was still saying it was hurting today so Angel took her to Balboa and they just said she has a hair line fracture somewhere. Angel said she will call me back and let me know what they are going to do. I had that same feeling as you described though. It is the worst feeling in the world when your child is in pain. Hope all ends well for you.

That is exactly what they did. They said it is a very small fracture. She will need a follow up but she will be fine.
