Eric took the car home. I was hoping to let the car sit overnight and test drive it tomorrow so that all of the silicone could completely cure, but he had operational commitments so he had to take his car home. Lets hope nothing leaves an oil drip in the morning.

Actually I made extra nickels today. Eric did in fact pay me for the job. It was 1/2 of what he was quoted from a local shop though. Thanks Eric.

I can tell the difference with the new diff., every time i turn i feel the car trying to go forward and i have to fight the streering wheel to get it to turn, it's not bad at all though, there was no oil or any thing coming from underneeth the car this morning. The rear end makes a bit of kluncking noise but that is normal because the locker has quite a bit of back lash.... over all im happy and i cant wait to see what it does at the track....thanks bobby!

Don't confuse what Eric is talking about with gear backlash. His ring and pinion backlash is right at .13"

He's talking about the normal characteristics of the locker itself.

Your welcome. Get those lowers and well throw them in with the springs saturday morning before you head to the track.

the lower control arms are pretty expensive, so i think im might change the bushing on the passenger side for the mean time, the steeda weight jakers are about 500, and the BMR's are 360 which use sphereical bushings.... well see though...

Eric, the Granatelli weight jacker or the UPR weight jackers go for $199 from summit. I have the UPR's and they work well.

my solid granitelli set is getting it ass handed to it with the slicks.

He didn't mention that the rubber bushings are gone! From the car shifting to the right rear as all mustangs tend to do it tore up his right rear bushing.

The 7's that Eric is lacking is do to a subpar rear suspension. The addition of the UPR rear lowers that he is buying and the set of stock springs just may be enough to get him into the winner's circle (7's ).

Oh yeah, the Eaton locker might help a little as well :driver:
