GT400, would like to put black vinyl in the area behind the heat extracters on my car. I know you have this expertise, think we could work something out?

Absolutely. I assume you want FLAT black?

Not sure about the "sides" of the recess and how that all looks in real life but yeah, it can be done!

Need to see the car in person. Don't have any flat black right now but I can order it.

Not sure I want it flat black, I think gloss would look fine also.

If nothing else, we could use my car to make the pattern and then make another for roushed.

I can come over whenever you want and we can at least make some measurements.

FLat black would look great only issue with flat is you cant wax it or its no longer flat lol

but just let me know that could be something you could advertise on ebay GT400

Yeah, I suppose so but I don't really wanna get too deep into the decal thing. I wanna support the club and just deal with our members. Don't want the hassle of outsiders "bidding" on sh!t, shipping, people screwing up their decals and asking for another free set, blah blah blah.......

This isn't my income, really. I have 6am to 3pm job with uncle sam and my goal is to get YOU GUYS your decals as fast as humanly possible. I don't need EBAY clouding up my ability to help the club. It'd be a nightmare.

You guys keep me busy enough in what little spare time I have.

I can multitask, but I don't wanna die doing it! LOL

I'd say just paint it. Mine came out great. I wanted to paint the underside after taking off the blanket and then had 2 rock chips. I then..was like lets do something different and went with it. Had a little concern if I would like it and didn't want to be ricey but I did and I love it. Just enough in my opinion. -Shane

I'll add a pic later when I get to base and off this internet challenged ship.

Look at it this way, if you do it in decal first and like it, take the decals off and paint it. If you DON'T like it, then you've done nothing permanent.

At least you can see what it will look like instead of photoshopping it on.

Best hood I ever saw was a black 03 Cobra with a carbon fiber hood. He painted everything black but the vent back and then glossed the whole hood. It looked awesome and not ricey in my opinion. -Shane

I am 100% in to that Shane, your car looks awesome!!!

I am seriously considering buying a carbon fiber one and painting all but the stripes then having the whole thing cleared. The hoods aren't really very expensive, now I just need a good painter.

But I think GT400 is right on the money with trying decals, and if I don't like it, I know immediately without any damage.
