I offered 19,000 and he said he would think about it. Getting more pictures from him tonight. Only thing car needs is front tires. Said only one scratch on front bumber. What do you guys think?

"I'll think about it" is a polite way of saying no.
If he doesn't reply or does infact say no, email or call back and re-negotiate. Stay in the game by throwing it back at him and getting a number "he can do".

I personally wont go higher than 19. Higher mileage than I wanted but its stock and it sounds like he has taken care of it. He didnt sound too uninterested in my offer so we will see. If he doesnt want 19 oh well, I am patient and will just keep looking.

how big is the scratch? Because with Mystic Chrome, you can't just do "touch up" paint. Almost have to do the entire car.
He said not big at all, not noticable unless your looking for it. We will see if and when the picture comes.

Still talking to this guy about the mystic, are Termies prone to having front alignment problems? This guy has taken his cobra to ford 3 times and they still couldnt fix his alignment. The insides of his front tires are always worn. Wanted to know how serious a problem this is and if its common. Anyone help me out?

Car is completely stock. But anyways while seeing what banks would offer me loan wise and seeing what this car needed me to spend up front, I decided financially I shouldnt buy this car. He came down to 18.5k for me but it needed four new tires and had that alignment problem so I decided to keep waiting and find something that will fit me better. The search continues....

Im just not into silver.... I was previously against a convertible but I am thinking about that one. Super clean and low miles for a good price. Going to call him tommorow.
So I have decided to go a different direction... Its disheartning but I cant afford a termy so my plans now are to find a nice Bronco preferably 78-79 or a nice f150 or lightning. Not going to spend alot of money on it because..... I WILL BE BUILDING MY FOX. Going to go 331 stroker with TFS top end kit preparing for a turbo down the road. The car will also be getting new rims and tires soon and probably full paint job again while the engine is out. It will be a long process because im also moving into my own place for the first time. But the car I bought when I was 15 will be the car I dream of. Wish me luck and close this thread if you would like.
You know, Mach 1's are pretty cheap now 10k-13k usually
Not really what im looking for though, if I spend that much I might as well keep saving for the termy I want. I still might consider a 96-98 cobra but Im pretty sure a truck is the way I want to go.
