Ever heard of United Stangs.com? There is a Comp Orange Cobra forum there. Also..how many CO Cobras have you seen in the area? I will be in Point Leoma in March so that will make two of us.-Shane

I saw 2 others at the Knott's Berry Farm car show last year, but I don't know where they were from. I do know there is another one here in the San Diego area, and he is on this site. I haven't seen him, but that is the only other one that I know of.

I remember putting a piece of paper on a Comp Orange 04 Cobra at the ballfield on North Island a bout a year ago when I was there for school about Unitedstangs.com.

I'm no submariner..but all of our minesweepers are inroute to Pt Leoma early 09. I am the ship's armoror and small arms instructor. Soon as we get off this 8 month deployment we head home to Corpus Christi, Texas and start making preps for the trip there. Cant wait..love it there! -Shane

BTW..I am a mineman....MN1(SW)

I always think you mineman are out of your minds. Floating around in your wooden sweepers in the middle of a minefield. LOL!

Will be good to have you out here.

BTW....I was on the Tripoli when she found one of your mines in the first Gulf War in '91. LOL!

No doubt! Man, send me an email about it! We hear about that and I believe it was a MK6 mine. If I was to get hit by a mine I would want it to be that one a contact mine and not a bottom mine. The bottom mines have a tendency to lift a 500 foot ship about 15 feet out of the water brake it in half and send it to Davy Jones in two pieces! -Shane
