1/4 mile day?

Just wanted to throw out a idea to see what you guy think. I know we have a mustang VS. Camaro event but what do you guys think about trying to get to a 1/4 mile track?

We have California Speedway = L.A.
We have bakersfield = Both chapters can attend san diego/central valley


So give me your inputs and thoughts

be careful of places that are cheap, you'll regret it. Most places will charge you between $80 to $100 for dyno. There's a couple places locally that members on here goes to, JBA on Convoy, DynoShop in Santee, some goes up to RET in Downey.
You'll get a bit more rec in the morning when some of the other members come online.

That event is going to be Feb. I have to give orange my schedule as well Sam. I pull out every month till june. Then July gone for 7 monthes to Gulf to save the tax free money and tax lotto money. Get back I plan on doing the internals, and other goodies I was telling you about

Yeah that is what I was afraid of at FFW at California speedway. I launched about 2500 only cause I was afraid of breaking something. I will be going all out at Mustang Vs. camaro event. The car runs mid 12's now. It will be in 11's next time it goes down the 1/4

I dont think you'll break something with nitrous when you launch unless you blow the tires out and over rev the engine.

N20 can hit harder than a centrifigal blower on a launch. N20 Makes a boat load of TQ! I wouldn't recommend spraying on a launch unless it's above 3000rpm though.
