1966 Fast Back

Hey guys I found a fast back today and was wondering what going price you guys would pay for one would be... It was a 4 speed 289 car, baby blue with blue interior all original but had little bubbles in paint here and there ect.. they guy said 10,000 firm look like a daily driver. In the midwest it would have been a 4 to 6000 car. Do you guys think it would be a good deal ust curious. I found a 65 falcon wagon today as well but wife wouldnt let me stop lol. I am going to go ak him tommorw if he wants to sell it if so it maybe a new family ride. I will have the wife driving aorund in style like time the tool man taylors wife jill in her nomad

After dealing with my 67 coupe, I would not buy another without thinking I would be doing a complete teardown and rebuild. A couple bubbles tells me rust and probably half assed repair jobs too........I will look at it if you want.

Well I thought it was cool A being a fast back and B small block 4 speed car I am not paying 10G's for it thought they guy is on crack as far as I am concerned. I would buy a mint conditiong 4 speed 289 65 Falcon Sprint for less than that...

well, you gotta understand that fast backs are extremely wanted so he can probably get that kinda money from someone. blame gone in 60 secs. i know this is a 66, but they are still liked. and i agree with gibs about the rust thing.

You can get a better price than 10K. it mat need some work but.....


I would not pay 10K for one with bubbling paint and anything wrong unless it was a numbers matching car, and all original.

look on craigslist and compair to others. also look in like AZ and OR ot NV. cars might be cheaper over there

Oh I was just looking if I had 10 G's to spend I have me a ScootAbout to get back and forth to work and a Super charger under my hood. HMMM Maybe just a built 5.0 in my garage waiting to go in my car all natural 450hp+ waiting for a supercharger or twin turbo set up...duh must have been dreaming again sorry guys. Next Jan or possibly after next cruise wife will be getting a new mini van then I am looking for a hot rod. I think I am going to find a nice 65 Falcon and drop a built 351 in car adventually. Maybe go out and get her a Falcon wagon lol
