2000 Mustang GT

I just picked up a 2000 Mustang GT today.. It needs a few things..

It has no front and rear bumper cover so im thinking of making a cobra clone. Will I be able to or will there a ton of modification? The guy I bought the car from said he had a Saleen kit on it.

Also does anyone have a stock H-pipe they are selling or renting so I can get this thing smogged. It currently has a Bassani X pipe with SLP cat back exhaust. I may be getting rid of that and running stock exhaust but I dont know yet.. Just need some advice as I have never owned a 4.6 Mustang.

Nah its not bad.. The body is really straight... They just pulled off the Saleen kit and wheels.. We bought it for a screaming deal... It runs great...

no the conversion it isnt hard, it should bolt right up no problem, and I wanna thank you for saving a mustang that needs a little TLC from the junk yard or crusher

update

So we trek'ed on out to some Junkyards and found a very nice black carpet.. We picked up and installed today.. We alos have a line on a complete Saleen kit so we may go that route... We are in search of Cobra seats 2003... and a set of Saleen 18x9 and 18x10 inch wheels.... Also Kragen wouldnt warranty the battery because we bought the car with it...

Ok-- So we picked up the car with no interior and through some Foxbody part swapping and the Junkyard this is where we are at..

Seats and carpet are in.. We need the back seats...

We also have a line on a Full Saleen body kit that we are hoepfully picking up this weekend..

So far we have 117.54 into the car besides the purchase... Let me know what you think?????

Here are some pics of the rearend!!! ouch... Looks like we need a new trac Lock!!!! Also we picked up a new Cobra front bumper with the lights installed already... can anybody open there hood and post up pics of how its installed on your car?

Progress

So We picked up a few things today...

Front and Rear Bumper covers in black from a 2003 Cobra... With the Wing, and the side scoops.....

I also want to Thank yosemiddysam for hooking us up with a Black Hood that matches... So so far It looks like we wont have to paint... Just need some rear seats... Hpipe from Hurt, and some wheels.... My Daughters Fobra is almost complete...

I have a set of Cobra rims as well with MT E.T Streets I would be willing to trade for a set of drag rims. Must be 17 inch slicks-n-skinnies look with likewise tires on them. I.E. some sort of new or like new M.T. ET Street, Hoosier, or Nitto Drag tires. Fronts I could care less. If ya come across something let me know. They are the stock 04 Cobra rims. Not all chrome like the wifes car has.

Well, Ran it by my daughter and she is looking at a set of FR500 black chrome... I think she is leaning towards that...

Here are the latest pics of our progress... We are hoping to have it running on the street by May but work and money will determine if we make it. I also have the Side View Mirror in black painted to match but I dont know how to get the door panels off? Any Advice:hmmmm2:

I have a Guage cluster on the way (Cobra SVT) and all the correct emblems and Cobra in the middle of grill... I also have a Billit gas cap cover to be installed.. What do you guys think?
