I lost but, not by much at all, I had him beat all the way until I had to let off due to wheel hop in 3rd....

But, Gibs, I Paid 42000, + 600 mods and free banner

It had a laptop in the front seat.. So I am sure it is tuned...

Probably but I thought those were pretty well tuned stock. That may have been part of the issue, they could have been messing with the tune to find the best setup.

That car is light and has loads of power, just find it odd that a lightly modded 500 would run with it. I bet the driver was the biggest advantage the 500 had...

The race driver was asked to run it because the owner sucked... Then they were allowed 3 runs, I told them before they could run me... So there was no excuses for the Vett Gibs..

i call bs or piss poor driving. sorry, a gt500 cant match a zr-1 at anything. not being a jerk, but seriously it cant.

yea really that video looked like the Zr1 was pulling the 500 while spinning all the way to half track, and do a real race. 1/4 mile and that zr1 would have been bus lengths away!

zr1 couldn't keep traction in ANY gear on that track. he let off the gas 3-4 times in an 1/8th mile and still ran a 7.8... i was there

the snobby wheels he had on the car were great for highway but in no way could that car dream of even making a decent time that day.

same essentially goes for emilio however.
