zr1 couldn't keep traction in ANY gear on that track. he let off the gas 3-4 times in an 1/8th mile and still ran a 7.8... i was there

the snobby wheels he had on the car were great for highway but in no way could that car dream of even making a decent time that day.

same essentially goes for emilio however.

The race driver was asked to run it because the owner sucked... Then they were allowed 3 runs, I told them before they could run me... So there was no excuses for the Vett Gibs..

yeah but the driver prob was scared if he spins too much and crashes it since its nto a cheap car and not his he prob didnt go full throttle and didnt burn the tires too much

yea really that video looked like the Zr1 was pulling the 500 while spinning all the way to half track, and do a real race. 1/4 mile and that zr1 would have been bus lengths away!

The 04' ran a 7.7, so until the shelby eclipses that mark it isn't meaner in my book. I don't want to hear the tire excuse either.

Ok guys let me explain this better... I was spinning all the way down the track and granny shifting.. My MPH was higher than the Vett... I only got 3 runs in the SHELBY and every run was better. I know deep down in my heart that this car can and will run 7.8 and even a 7.7 the way it is street tires. The Corvett guy hired the professional racer to help him get his vett into the 7 and to try and beat me... I few more runs and even the same tires the vett guy had, I can deep into the 7s easy... Now if I put on slicks or even a nitto tire this car will easily be a low 7 sec contender.... Lets see if the wife allows me to prove you guys wrong.... Good thing about racing this weekend is I might have pick up a sponsor for WIKD500 I was approached and asked to test a part that they are making for the GT500.... More to Come...

Umm it looks like your mph was 90 and his was 94. You even posted that in the first post. When I was @ 90 mph I was running 7.3's however my car is 1500lbs lighter and it's auto. I'm sure you will run 7's, but I would say mid 7's not low meaning sub 7.5's. I really wish you would prove us all wrong. We are all tired of your bench racer antics. Put up or shut up! We can what if this **** to death. There is only one way to shut everyone up. If you want to talk about power and what you think it will run go to socal stangs. Guys we CAN NOT compare a ZR1 to a GT500, even a GT500 SuperSnake is not in the same league. the ZR1 is a pure all around performance car, the GT500 is not.

But, in a strait line race, the gt500 with some mods is gonna be hard to beat
