2010 body swap

alright this is a question i have been pondering since the new model stangs are on the same frame and what not, is there a way to do a full front end conversition just the body. would they mount up the same way ???? i like the front and but hate the rear end of the new 2010 and i dont mind the whole pre 2010 model look but i think if u combine the front end of the 2010 and the rear end of the pre 2010 that would be a great looking car just wondering

It probably would take some metal fabing skills, But I am quite sure it could be done. I have been thinking of swapping my entire dash and center counsel since the early pics came out of the interior... It is much more refined then ours.

2010 did do a nice job in redoing the interior. That is by far the best upgrade follow by the front. I love that shark nose front. :top:

But the rear and the black plastic bottom skirt. They missed the boat on those two things :thumpdown:

give it a month or two. Somebody will wreck their 2010 and maybe lucky enough not to do too much damage to the front.

hopefuly they get rearended god that sounds horrible saying that hahaha i could just wait on ebay they sell 1/4 pannels for like 125 buck sometimes just wait and pick it up and get it painted hahahah

theoretically it should fit no problem being how its built on the same chassis, however all the body panels except for the roof are different. your fenders will most likely not mount strait to the doors and they must be altered.

hahah a little better.hopefuly just enough to total it out and i can buy it cheep and take what i want off of it and sell the rest as part for others with this great idea hahahah
