Rumors have been flying around for quite sometime about Ford bringing back the Mach 1 moniker for 2011. It's been six long years since the last Mach 1 was produced and we already know there will not be a 2010 Mach 1 Mustang but we are still holding out hope a 2011 Mach 1 Mustang is in the works with the much hyped return of the 5.0-liter motor.
The above renderings were done by Edmundo Cano and I must say they are truly life like. These renderings show his view of what a 2011 Mach 1 Mustang would look like if it was produced on the new refreshed body. The matte black color of hood, shaker scoop, roof, side stripe, rear wing and rear window louvers give it the classic Mach 1 look. The 20-inch retro wheels add a modern look to an already potent Mustang. All around we have to say his rendering will probably be close to what Ford would produce.
