It's about damn time I found this thread....lol

As most know, before I can go out of town I need a few things off my checklist.
The most important are:

1) I now need the driver side tires
2) Motor mounts
Also need a tune-up, oil change and all that good crap. Luckily though I'm getting my brakes taken care of on Thursday. They got pretty bad and starting grinding and squealing.

Maybe we can give Jess some gas money to take us in the Lincoln ?
Or hey, me in the Roush and Jamie in the Lincoln....LOL
It would be nice to go even if I can't take the Stang.

I put this message on their Big Bear Rally thread:

Inland Empire chapter of Wicked Stangs is doing a cruise from Lowe's Victorville to Big Bear for BBQ, Saturday 18th. They want to know if you want to meet up with them. A bunch of **** guys with **** cars (two Bullitts that I know of).

I haven't been able to find out what their BBQ destination is, but they are meeting at Lowe's at

The family BBQ was planned for Saturday before this was planned and I didn't go to the last Family day because you guys came over and we chilled with yall instead, so I should probably do that anyway.

frank s aka Frank, yes we can meet for lunch @ 1130 if they are going to B's Backyard BBQ and run down to RIAM together.

Or they can meet us at RIAM @1000 and do the Rally to Big Baer for lunch together.

Or even meet at Cars & Coffee Irvine 0800 and do the whole Rally togehter

What even work for them is good with us, would be fun to have the two groups get together for a fun day !

I'm committed to take the Mrs and her dogs to Big Bear tomorrow, Saturday. She hasn't deigned to tell me yet, which route we'll take. From my point of view, Victorville is a long way 'round. The Bullitt guys suggest joining up with them at either the Irvine Cars and Coffee

1000-1030
Riverside International Auto Museum ... 815 Mariborough Ave Riverside,CA 92507
ralley point bravo: stage of 2nd run / driver meeting ... 50 miles ETA 60 min. , to go up the hill to
1130-1300
B's Backyard Barbecue ... 350 Alden Rd Big Bear,CA 92315
ralley point charlie: Lunch & stage for 3rd run / driver meeting ... 60 miles ETA 90 min. and
1430-1600
Riverside International Auto Museum: visit museum & say good-byes and
then we just cruise home with lots of fun memories of friends spending a fun day
together ...

Seems to me the likely solution/decision for us (me and Mrs) is to go directly to the Riverside International Automotive Museum, where the Bullitt-heads expect to be at about 10:00 AM. Fall in line with them and zoom up to Big Bear, have lunch at B's, back down to RIAM, float home on the I-15/215 waves.

Any idea how many are joining Roushed2 from Victorville? That back way is an excellent drive, if you don't mind the extra distance.
