well guys i opened it up today, and the car has some problems, i believe its fuel pressure related, it falls flat on its face at 4k, soo i returned the car to the owner and will buy one when i come back in july. its the fmu and the car really needs a tune bigger injectors and bigger maf. then the car will fly...sooo i am not to sad, for now i will be mustangless. all's well that ends well right. have a nice december fellas
well, truth be told i would of bought the car anyways, but my dad was telling me to wait 6 months(so that i get settled in at long beach)who knows, if he stills has it in 6 months then i'll buy it. but more than likely its going to get sold. driving a fox and my new edge was like night and day.
I know a guy down here running stok ported heads B cam Stock ported intake, long tubes and full off raod ehuast, gears and 28" slick, Running 12.40's on motors and 10.80 on a 200shot in a FOX body...
if you are going to buy a cam you are better off going with a custom cam from jay allen or ed curtis. I will be ordering a ed curtis cam in my 347 for a while then I am going to throw in my F cam after I install the turbo. F cams are awesome for turbo cars. I wouldnt use an FMS alphabet cam for anything else. they just arent that great of cams with all the other choices
