A day at the Races

Things to bring to the track for a day at the races.


1. Pen to fill out your tech card

2. 1/4 tank of gas or less

3.clothes: Think about this and make a plan. It can be pretty hot in the pits and stands if your watching. Please plan. (drivers must wear long pants) sweat pants or some warm up maybe a good choice

4.sun screen

5. Folding chairs possibly a pop up tent if your in pits ( most tracks let you set up pop ups. I have seen them on bleachers as well if you have a few friends)

6. Helmet ( required for all racers)

7. Ice chest for drinks/ice possibly a grill for cook out ( sometimes at larger events food can be expensive)

8. Cell phone ( you never know if you have to call a tow truck or buddy to pick your car up)

9. Camera or camcorder

10. A cone or something to mark you spot in pits if you dont have a trailer

11. Basic tools/ jack ect if your changing tires. ( remember putting air in your tires after airing down and there hot can be very dangerous)

dont forget ipod if you get bored and dont wanna drain battery which alternator will charge causing drag on the engine... or if you like me and dont have a stereo
