alpine moto gp jacket ftw. if i wreck the only thing that will kill me is that horrible "sudden stop" lol. hopefully i can hit the ground and roll and skid to a peacefull stop. that jacket is some **** straight out of batman with all the armor its got. i watched a buddy go down with a decent leather and walk away with minor road rash so i bought a big daddy one. dude safe gear is the best mod you can buy on a crotch rocket.

ill get some eventually all i do right now is go around the block just to get a good feel of going left and right etc.

Just the other day I watched this kid lay his bike over in a parking lot!!! When it fell to the side he was still pretty much in the riding position. I ran over and helped him pick the bike up and asked what the h*ll he was thinking. He said he hadn't been riding that long and when he went to stop at the stop sign he tried to just balance the bike long enough just to come to a brief stop then take back off......that didn't work out too well for him. VP the best advice I could ever give you if your fairly new at riding is, know your limits and DON'T push them. Bikes can be very unforgiving, and I would hate to take a spill on the highway with 2000 pounds of metal (cars) flying all around me. Doesn't sound like much fun to me. Bikes are a BLAST they just need to be respected...

i already did that actually.... i was wearing helmet, hoody, jeans, and timberland shoes. i was about to get onto the 94 from the 5 south and was int he right lane doing 75 and 5 lanes over a car comes all the way across to make the exit before that clips my front tire. i flew over a 100 feet in the air before the over pass and landed after the over pass the buddy i was riding with said it was liek in slow motion and i landed on my had hand and forarm kind of how superman looks when he is about to take off except i did it head first into the pavement. the bike flipped in mid air landed on the tires went across traffic and hit the gaurdrail. i went home drank a 1/2 beer kept throwing up and couldnt see anythign except for white. my buddies stayed over so i wouldnt fall asleep then the next day i coudl see a little bit and went drove to the hospital. they gave me a catscan and said i have a sever concussion and bruising on the brain and xray'd and bunch of parts i had a fractured elbow and wrist.

the car left with out stopping cops didnt make a police report just made sure i was ok and left. same witht he fire truck i told them i was fine because i didnt have a license, insurance etc.

I still can't believe the cops caught him, I thought that he would be able to pull away. I wish I could do that.
