Just what could one of the most prolific outlaw racers be up too in his free time? Well it appears that the team of Tim Lynch and Steve Petty have been massaging the panels on the famed Mustang. While I am not sure how much of the work Petty and Lynch might be doing, there is one thing that is for sure; they are back and ready for action with the new power plant under the hood. Proline and Jimmy Blackmon have worked their magic in putting the power to the ground.
The most recent change is the flat black look that has become so popular. A fresh new coat of ultra shiny black gloss paint has been applied to the body of Tim’s Mustang. Just how much more can we expect from the dynamic duo? Time will only tell as it has been rumored that the Mustang is for sale, though they are heading out to the ORSCA races to try and pick up another championship in the Outlaw 10.5 ranks.
The paint may not be the answer for winning races as they made an early bow out at this past weekend event in Atlanta, but you can be sure that the Lynch and Petty team will be back in the winners circle real soon. We may even be treated to another showing at Shakedown, where they have set records.
