Adam Carolla's CarCast is quickly becoming a huge hit on my list. The show features a new automotive celebrity each week to talk about builds – what more can you ask for? This week, Carolla did not disappoint. He brought in Steve Saleen and the show featured two amazing cars.

This episode began with Saleen and Carolla discussing the SMS 570X Challenger. Steve explained that the car started off as a Dodge Challenger that was completely stripped down to a bare shell. From there, it was rebuilt from the ground up. The car features a “red-butterfly” induction system resembling those seen in dragsters. When you step on the throttle, the system opens up through the hood to feed fresh air to the air box. Saleen noted that the Challenger makes 700 horsepower.

Next, Carolla and Saleen took a walk around the “Mollypop” Mustang. The first thing you notice about this car is its “ice cream” paint job - the car is bright pink. Perhaps part of the reason that Saleen had the car painted such an easily distinguished color was to keep track of his daughter - he stated that he frequently receives calls from friends telling him that they've seen her about town.
At the end of the show, Saleen mentioned that the Saleen Camaro would be make its appearance in early 2010. We can't wait.
