I have one of those sitting in my garage I believe. Unfortunately, I'm gone for the next three weeks (back 10APR) I yanked all the smog off my car, Florida Plates, and I believe it's sitting next to my tool box. If you can wait that long, you can have it.

The name of the part is the thermactor bypass or the thermactor air diverter....cannot remember which one is which, but I believe it's the thermactor byass valve (ACV=Air Control Valve). This diagram will assist in tracing it out. http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/tech/engine/images/88Stang5.0Vacuum.gif

LOL!!! Cool Andy, glad you found one.. If Im not mistaken, I think that tube re-circulates exhaust back into your cylider heads. Or something along those lines...

That's right the ACV is located down stream of the pipe. I hope I still have the pipe....I believe I saw it last week. I believe it is still there.

No... this pipe is connected inline with the air pump... the air pump, pumps air in to the cats to aid in burning off Extra Hydro carbons (HC) also known as unburned gas...... the EGR is the Exhaust Gas Recirculator...

never heard of a ACV??
