Another Fontana event.

A forum member over at www.s197forum.com is interested in a private track day at Fontana if enough people are interested. At the most he is looking for 100 drivers. Keep in mind that it will be more than $20 to race. Last time there was a private event, I believe it was $120 to race. The extra cost also goes to track prep.

His screen name is joedls. I have met him before at Barona. He seems like a good guy. He will put in some calls this week.

I know him. He's trying to arrange it along with the same folks I know in that area. Same event.

Well it cost me $20 to get 3 runs in this last weekend and there were about 200 cars.

So, if they get 100+ cars, that means maybe 6 runs at a cost of $120. Thats a whole lot more money.

you know what though, did you guys catch the people that had two stickers on their windows? i would say screw it and buy a second one anyways, we already pay that much at barona, 40 to run in two classes at fontana would be worth it to me...

Hmmmm? Really? You can do that? I would have done that for sure if I had known.

Keep in mind that it's more expensive than the street legal even because you are also paying for track prep. From what a number of people told me, the track is not prepared on street legal days.
