I believe I have found a way to get these dumps on without coming straight from the headers.

Just need a steady hand and a little luck.

I took the mid pipe out of my car today so all I was running were headers and a down pipe and good god was it loud. I had a Harley staring at me. I figured a way of doing it and now i dont need a welder i just need a cutter. anyone interested?

How do you want to cut it? Do you want to use a plasma cutter, grinder with a cutoff wheels, sawzall? Im pretty deadly with the grinder if you want to go that route.

so your going to cut the mid pipe and mount them before the X? good idea... shouldnt be hard... do it at the auto hobby... i bet they have a chop saw... hope it goes back together right... REMEMBER MEASURE TWICE....... CUT ONCE!!! lol

also those dumps look different then yours... and they might have them in that place on that car because it isnt lowered.. i said to put them there when we were doing your exhaust and everyone said they would hit everything...

Good point, dont want those things to drag on anything.

WELLLLLLL. the picture works for that guy cause he has the stock H pipe. I put them on and its pretty much a no go. They are right after the X and they are way to close to the ground and one of them isnt working cause the wire on the motor broke off. Its not looking good. I think im just going to cap them and use a bolt on/off block off.

Im actually contemplating putting the stock rear springs in and giving it a nice rake in back and fixing that motor.

dont use the one you bolt on and off, they are a pain and after you take them off the 2nd time you need to replace the gasket because they leak

they wont leak... they are furthur down stream in the exhaust.. dont buy the ones that you have to take on and off... not worth it... just bring it by the cruise night i can fix i i know i can...
