Yeah, I almost feel bad cuz I drove the Stang the last three days. But on the way home from the docs' office today, I had some fun and buried the speedo... I was a bit freaked out though, because there is a fairly noticeable vibration at about 80 - 95 mile per hour. What the hell is that all about? Not wheel harmonics... I'm thinking that POS two-piece driveshaft. Opinion?

are you sure its not a wheel ballance issue or alignment

Pretty sure... had the car aligned when I lowered it last year, and I don't drive it all that much. I haven't hit any potholes ... yet, either. It just 'feels' like the DS, yanno? I have heard that these S197's have harmonics 'issues' too.

i would have the wheels ballanced first just to check and make sure or take it to Ford under warraty let them figure it out

Man, I just shudder at the mention of Ford and warranty in the same breath. They already poked me on my first set of gears. The they told me I "voided my warranty by modding the car," and said I be charged full labor for any work they had to do.

as long as the modifications you did to your car did not cause the issure they cant do that
but try the ballance first and also check your tire pressure

They just torque my dork when they make excuses for not honoring their warranty. They should be bending over backwards for their customers right now... and sending in dancing girls to the customer lounge.
