Yes in fact he did cut a high 1.7 60' on my old 17x8 nittos, i think it just takes a nasty burn out to get em sticky....thats what i have been told anyways....

I burned the hell out of them a few times and they didn't stick. Maybe I have a shitty set or its my car.

Wow 10's??? What do you have done?

I am trying to bring my Shelby with us up there. Going to run the M&H 28" DR's and try for 11's. Most likely mid 12's.

My Shelby is bone stock except for the Control arms. BTW....don't ever run aftermarket upper control arms!!!!! Ugh! They are not worth it. I researched and researched and bought the J&M adj. They coming lose. I have to get my car into the shop before Friday to find out why it is lose again. Thats why I am not sure I can bring this car to the race.

I have quite a few GT500s and GTs running Metco upper and lower control arms and all are VERY pleased. No more nasty wheel hop. Maybe it's the bushing material that you chose that's causing them to loosen up?
We were using BMR, but the Metco seems to hold up better.

I've yet to drive a 2010 GT500, but I've heard that Ford has vastly improved the rear geometry.

I got mine tightned up, so I am good to go again. I am using J&M adj upper. The J&M lowers have been fine. I put mine on because of the wheel hop, which is now gone.

This time it was the bolt that holds upper on the rear end side. I told them to red lock-tite those babies down this time, but they didn't. I was under the car this time watching and there is just no way to get good leverage on this bolt.

Before it was the center bolt under the seat, but thanks to Lock Tite that one was still tight.

I think I might go Metco or Roush and use a new bracket.
