on the 41 just north of friant/blackstone. i was going 140 and where it starts to go into that righthand sweeping corner i hit that dip in the freeway and it sent the ass end to the right. I have video of it to prove it. And 80 90 whatever. i am never going to live that down am i. I get a little excited.

you'd have to see the video. it happened right as i was shifting too. it was pretty scary. the ass end kinda hopped up then the tires started spinning and it drifted to the right so i got off the gas and slid into the fast lane shoulder on the bridge and pulled out of it pretty fun though.,

getting off the gas is one of the worse things you can do in a situation like that... it makes the car jerk to the direction of the front tires... you want to ease up on the throttle... not lift completly

I hit that dip doing 120 in 2nd gear and the 3valve didn't budge an inch. Must be a 3 valve thing... But at those speeds, I'm not thinking... I'm in la la land... because not thinking is the right thing to do at those speeds.

Wow..been a while since I drove my Cobra but in my Mach I cant get 30 feet without shifting into 2nd gear. I do recall my third gear in the Cobra being the long money maker gear with stock gears. Racall walking a GTO in 4th gear when he was in 3rd a few years back and when he shifted I threw 3 cars on him. He put down about 350rwhp that day and I threw down 481 with my Eaton. I have no fear of racing a three valve cause I know it will be a close race unless a power adder is involved. I would like to know if the last encounter was a fluke. If you take HP and weight into account my car is NOT faster than a three valve but not far behind either. -Shane

Shane, come with Dustin and find out. My car doesn't make that much power, like I said few bolt ons, stock suspension, stock gears 3.31, full weight, how fast can it get. I do have a shifting problem right now, but it should work, hopefully. Bring your Mach1, we'll run motor to motor

Yea man **** was crazy... then I made the 2-4 shift and she broke loose and the speedo spud around a few times.

So now my Stangs are piece of shits huh? HA HA HA That's RICH...I raced what was I'm sure a stock GT...so if you have a stock GT I doubt you will do any better.
