not a problem. ive never been to one of their events before but it sounds fun. im not doing the racing on sunday though.

I Just got back from the event.. it was ok.. not what i expected...i didnt do the cruise cause i have a bday party i need to attend with the gf.. there was only about 60 cars. a lot of cars all looked stock. kind of like a gt500 sales lot.. lol there was a few real nice cars.. i took pics.. I'll try and have some up by tomorrow. the cars in the museum were bad ass...

ya not what i expected. i just walked in a couple min ago. and it did look like they were all stock other than a couple appearance mods. i did most of the cruise up into wrightwood. the cruise through angeles crest was fun but getting there was a total mess. when we made our two stops and were going through wright wood i just wanted to make the 40 min drive home and not the spend 3 more hours in car plus whatever at the diner lol so i broke off from the pack and left. I was mad someone just put the rally roundel sticker thing on my car when i wasn't with it. i didn't want a sticker on my paint.

I feel ya.. the cruise i think was too long.. the cruise through angeles crest, but getting there..It looked like a big cluster f#$%%.. a few weeks ago I put together a small cruise of aout 10 cars through there and that was cool but more then that i can imagine is hard.. For the Chicane Event that I did we had 150 cars just for a cruise.. and it was only a 25 mile cruise down PCH.. and that was a hard one too.. I hung out with Steve and Hendrix most of the time there.. then i split around noon.. next show, SMS. Sept 12th. hope I can get steve saleen to sign my model..

ya a lot of the people drove like 90 mph on the freeway up to the 210 where it was bumper to bumper for a while. me and a few others drove 70-75 and pulled up right behind the rest who went way too fast at the 210. but it was just chaos. a bunch of them almost had a huge pile up as they tried to merge over 4 lanes of traffic when it was basically too late and there was like 10 of them in that triangle area between the freeway and the off ramp. but the cruise was a bit long i think. its why i left like half way through after lunch and pictures.

and i was looking at the awards and there were like 6 shelby only categories, 1 most hp category, 1 roush, 1 saleen, and 1 furthest distance category. so i thought that was kinda bogus.

I didnt see those.. thats wack.. lol especially when i think there was one roush, 2 saleens, and all other shelbys had stock blowers..I bet you on of those shelby gt's with the KB's won.. that or the supers snake.. Im glad I didnt attach my name to that event. jason had asked me if id help with permoting and get him a big turn out like I did for Joe.. Good thing I didnt. plus I think he wanted me to do it for free.. For Joe I had 3 months worth of permoting plus it wasnt free either.. Im gonna set up an event in the next few months for charity.. i'll keep you guys posted here..

ya it was. it was a shelby event but not fair to everyone. especially me lol.

where will your event be held? if its not too early to tell lol

Well, from the sound of it, Chicane was a way better event.
