Sorry for the short notice guys but this came up over on the Fresno SCCA Chapter forums. I will be going to this so let me know you anyone else is interested. Its thirty bucks and its like go cart racing, only with real cars. Times and bragging rights are allowed if you guys wanna attend.

Sorry for such short notice but I just found out about it. The Porsche Club is having an autocross on Sunday at the site they use near Kerman. I have looked at this site as possible for use by us, but wasn't sure. Now is a good chance for us to try it out and see if it will work. The event will be more like our test & tune. No classes, no schedule, probably unlimited runs. Just be there about 7:30 AM to get registered. Run what you brung & have fun!

I'll be there.

It's not on their web site, so don't bother to look. Entry fee is $30.

The address is 12801 W Shields, Kerman. It's about 9 miles West of 99.


Here's a link to Google, but Google thinks it's in the middle of a field. The actual site is the big lot with a few buildings to the east (right) between N. Howard & N. Biola.

Talk about one of the most fun things you can do with your pants on! the event was great. and all the people were very cool. Joe and I both had instructors hope in the cars and give us pointers. What a great time, you guys all need to go next month. They have helmets on site to use if you dont have one.

Thats true, same with me.. Out there on that course HP doesnt mean as much as it does on the drag strip. Chris your Termi could probably get smoke checked by a 120 hp car (of course weight is a big factor) but some of those guys out there been doing these events for ten years or more, and it shows... They really know how to drive! I have always considered myself to be a pretty good driver. Well, I learned alot that I didnt know today!! And had an absolute great time doing it!!!
