Also if I drive it plan on at least 3 trips down the track. I will not just jump in a new car and go blasting down the track. By the third pass though you would have a very good idea what your car has in it!!!!!

I see that you edited the post, but you're too late lol! I read what you wrote....What do I win if I get a better time than the owner of the car?

Haha! Yeah I did change it. Didn't want to start anything. You auto/fox guys!

Anyone might do better in my car. But to answer your question, you get to drive 02GT insane with **** talk if you beat his time. I don't think it would be as easy as you might think.

Have you made any adjustments to the car since the last time out? You going to the Q Friday?

Tomorrow I plan to cut holes in the rear panels for easy rear shock adj. And I am taking off the front sway bar. Also going to put the clutch back the way I had it before.

The car is just as I drove it home from Barona in the garage.

I am going to "try" to go to the Q on Friday. I need the practice. Pretty sure I will be there. I will post up on Friday morning if I am not going.

I swore I wouldn't go out there again. BUT.... It is all about practicing launch/shift points on the car. I fully expect the track to be slippery as hell, like normal.

I have gotten a little reputation as one of the guys to beat, but they don't know this car, so I think I can be left alone if I go. I won't be called out.

Besides, it should be nice and cool. Track temp at barona last weekend was 102 deg and 15% humidity. Ugh!

Practice makes perfect. The more you experiment with your car the better you will be. I say you just keep on keepin on but if ya want a second driver/see if things are different that could help as well.

Yeah.... having someone drive my car was just one of those ideas that came up. It might be worth while just to see at some point.

I do have some goals I would like to reach and who doesn't want to see their car run what it "should" run, but for me it also a lot of fun just taking it out. The cheapest mod is the driver mod:lol:

I never said it would be easy, but I think you will be chasing your tail here. I don't really think a new driver is needed. I think you need to get the car squared away as I said before. You can't drag race on a trans that won't go into gear, the tires are too tall for the gears and power is down because the IAT is reading hot air.

Get the trans fixed get some et streets and move the IAT and then see what happens. :deadhorse:

But chasing my tail is what I do best...if it would just slow down, I could catch it!!

You pretty much summed it up. I will have to run my auto trans swap idea past you when I get more time to post up the details.
