hey, is anyone planning on going out to this.....i would like to get my car tuned up (air/fuel) and run it out there now that i have everything installed. dont have tires that are worth running on right now, but i think it will be fun anyway. if anyone is interested post up here, i would like to get this goin

uhm....not sure....i was hoping one of you all had an idea....lol. timing too. i just wanna run it before i leave. and i want the engine to be safe in the process.

If I can make it out there we can tune your car with timing locked out. Let me see if I can make it.

Get the 90/10's from the race car as well. With the new suspension you could run 8.5's if we can get it dialed in. To get prepared for the race you will need to go out and mark your balancer, pull O2's and spout.

Clean the balancer with a wire wheel if you have to then get some white out and red nail polish from the wife. Get some masking tape. Put tape down on both sides of 28* & mark it with white out. When it dries pull the tape and repeat @ 30* with red nail polish and so on. Keep alternating color every 2*. Take it up to 34*.

What ignition do you have?

Getr done man! Eric, you also need to adjust the ride height in front. Don't worry about how it looks you can always adjust them back for the street. Raise the coil overs up at least 6 full rotations. Your car has way too much rake. All of the weight is in front and your car is having trouble transferring the weight. Then when it comes down it unloads the tires and slows down.

Also at the track leave the rear seats in and lets even try putting one of your tires in the trunk on a pass or 2. Get the skinnies mounted for this race as well. Lets get a move on boys!!!!

If I go it will likely be with the kids.

If that's the run where you missed 3rd I do have it. I didn't post it because you missed a gear. If you want I'll post it later. I had no idea that it was a 1.64 60'!! I thought it was a 1.69 or something.

Eric you need a TAC w/shift light. You're a hardcore racer start acting like one lol! I think at this stage of the game it can work wonders for you.

Oh and stop being lazy and adjust the F'ing coil overs! You waste enough time at the track already swapping tires. Be ready to go when you get there.

no, the run that i missed 3ed was a 1.69 the run after that was a 1.64 60', i got a 7.93 at 87 that run, thats when i shredded the belt, the car could have lost boost on the 1.64 run but oh well, and yes could you get my run where i missed third, i would like to see how the suspension acts with the shocks and struts set the way i had it.... and btw i finally got the car back together and i didnt spend a dime to fix her either...so im quite happy....:biggrinrock:
