well i think i am gonna run the q on the 9th and barona the 10th just to see what kind of differences there are between the two tracks.

There is one helluva difference between the two but you have to know how to launch. Either one will either make you or break you on the launch!!!!!!
the q is all i know i havent raced on any other track and i like running at the q when its not packed then im doin hot laps. i do it for fun, i dont have a 500 hp car on slicks, i do it cuz its fun, alot of guys on here are really serious about it though. drag is not my forte anyway, auto cross is where its at.
I do it for the fun of it too but I really dont wanna break anything before the 25th lol.
i dont want to break anything period thats why im a little sceptical about barona.

im really leary about racing at barona with slicks now because i never broke loose once when i got the tires hot at the q and when i started to get my launch rpms bit high evry time... so i say screw it, balls to the walls.
I am not ruling out showing up for support...hell I might even pay the extra 5 to ride with ya but I am not running on the 9th lol.

Looks like I am going after all. I went to 29 stumps today to check in for TAD. Come to find out the dumbasses over at Balboa sent me a month early. I wasn't supposed to check in until Feb.

Wow Thread got big guys lol (duty). Ok here is the deal with BBQ pits. They are allowed. I suggest we park near the end of pit by the big ass tree where we usually park so the smoke ect doesnt bother other racers. It is a big area as well so we can all fit in same general area. Well as far as Pop up tents go. You have to remember that it get windy up there at times. I can bring my pop up if you guys need me too. The thing is you need to bring bunge straps or tie downs to hld it to the ground. They do have some large rocks but you need something to hold the tent down. How wold you like it if some guys pop up cought air and traveled over to land on your car scratching, denting or possibly cracking a window. We need to bring this up at meeting and see who plans on going ect and coming up with a meeting spot. Sound good guys?

Phil: myself, 02, and WKD so far are planning to meet at the Denny's off of the 8 on Mollison at 0730. So if you and anyone else wants to go together just meet there.
We can talk about it at the meeting tommorow night... See who else plans on attending ect.
