Barona or Race Legal on 4/3??

Looks like RaceLegal may have a confirmed event for 4/3. They are pushing the "Fast and Furious" movie release on the same day car show.

But also, Barona is having a Friday night Test & Tune session the same night.

I really want to start going to Barona because the track is so much better. But there are three things to consider.

1) I don't want to go alone. I was "ok" going to Barona this past weekend, but it would have been better with a few of you there.

2) Talking with some of the racers this past weekend, they say that when the funny cars come out, wait times for making runs gets very long. And Barona has the Funny cars on Sat., so they might be T&T on Friday. I don't know.

3) RaceLegal could cancel again, who knows with them.

So what do you guys think?? Anyone interested in going? And if so, which one?

Yeap! If i can pull low 8's on street tires launching around 2000 rpm then launching at 4500-5 slipping the clutch and M/T will put me in 7's. I will let you know

Decided that I am going to the Q with my truck. No damn time to put parts on the GT500 and I don't feel like driving all those back roads to get to Barona. Bad enough during the day, but at least I have something to look at, but those roads at night...I am just not up for it. Also Barona is running the funny cars this weekend, so it is going to be a busy place and the wait to race. Plus, I figure I can help the Q out a bit with my hard earned money. I am not as mad at them as I was....unless they cancel again and I drive all that way.

I am saving the Barona for the next event when I have all my parts on and hopefully get into the 6's.

Don't think anyone else is going to the Q, but if you do, look for my black truck.
