Breakfast at Balboa

The next Breakfast at Balboa is next Sunday, 2/15/09. Last months get together had over 300 cars and this month I believe there will be media present to take pictures and maybe interviews. So get your cars cleaned up and dressed up for the show. Last month we arrived at the park about 6:45am and got primed parking spot. Let's aim for the same arrival time.

Meet at Mission Valley Target at 6:15 am and ready to roll out no later then 6:30am.

Clear on Sunday. Rain ends on Saturday.

But if it's raining, I'll just roll over and get some more sleep. Wake me up for the race car meeting.

I emailed Jovan (the organizer) and asked him when he will make the decision on if its a go or not. Waiting for his reply.

My suggestion, if its raining when you wake up, most likely its cancelled.

I will post with any updates.

Just got the email back from Joven.

He said he will be out there rain or shine. But if its just cold, show will go on as usual. If its raining, don't worry about it.

I've been watching the weather on the news, scouting the internet weather sites and they all say the same thing except for ONE guy, the weather man at Channel 9 (KUSI). Everyone says rain Sat and Sunday and this old fart, (whose usually better than the rest) says NO RAIN Sat or Sun!

I hope he's right!
