What do you mean no gauges???? I gave you an autometer gauge, I know that it works because it ran when I had it in my car, you might just need a new engine temp sensor. Don't say I never do anything for you guys.

It definitely needs a tune. Its a stock lincoln motor with a cobra intake, a single blade throttle body (that alone needs a tune), a MUSTANG mass air meter, headers, etc. That lincoln computer has got to be wondering what the hell is going on. Its the mass air and throttle body that are the biggest changes. A computer is set up to run well with a certain combo of those parts. When my tuner initially set my car up with a tune for a single blade, it wouldn't even stay running with the stock throttle body on it.

That list is certainly doable, the driveshaft is the next big hurdle.

Dont worry Ehtan, we all know that your are contributing. The list is not that long and your gage is a welcome addition.

Once I fix my own car, you can expect some more contributions from me.

Here is the reality of running the car:

1. Driveshaft yoke is to small for transmission, leaking oil everywhere. Can not order the right driveshaft until the new K-member is installed and measurements are taken.
2. IMRC is not wired in, wont run properly with them hooked up...part of the tune.
3. Car has zero gauges....water, oil, tach etc.
4. Still need to install front and rear hood pins.
5. Switches for headlights and tail lights need hooked up.
6. Brake switch needs hooked up.
7. Transmission Overdrive lockout needs a pushbutton.
8. Shifter needs to be secured to transmission tunnel, loose in car.
9. Brakes need bled.
10. Wiring under and inside car needs to be secured.

The car is moving along nicely and most of these problems are easily solved with very few dollars. The biggest requirement is the AJE parts that will allow us to measure out the driveshaft. Once the parts arrive, the K-Member can be installed in two days.

Thanks for all the positive comments and I'm pushing to make a test and tune before I leave on 17Jun.

wait i thought you guys did the K member already... so what is the engine bolted to.. and why is the new K member going to effect drive shaft length??

I dont believe it will change the driveshaft length that much. Usually the yoke can make up for any small changes that the K-member can create.

The tubular K-member that is installed is part of the original car. We are still waiting for the package arrive from AJE. He said it could take up to six weeks and we contacted him again. It is still in progress and he'll have it shipped out soon.
