BREAKING NEWS: Project Venomousssss strikes today

Other than the improper english in the title the car is looking and sounding badass! Can't wait to see that thing at the track. No matter what it runs it's going to be an awesome day!

It looks like you were a little timid to get on it? Is something missing? Are the brakes working good?

Great jobs guys! I'm proud of the team that put that together!

I think maybe because it was in the parking lot, the speed bump, and her maiden voyage, all those factored into not going too hard on it this time. But the brake works as it should and it had a nice squat when Xavier stepped on it on the first test run. But you're right, that first run on the track will be an awesome day!

Everything is ok with the car just requires minor adjustments... We did not get on it fully due to not being Tuned yet and everything is not tied down yet:)

Is Dante gonna give it a tune for Free? That tranny is going to be the limiting factor. Someone should call Lentech or PA. Gibs C4 has a future. :)

nice guys... i love the first run of the car... always a good moment.. but can i ask why it needs a tune... isnt it a stock 4 valve with headers?

It should run fine without a tune. I say we run it first and then tune it afterwards. It should start with a baseline run at the track and show how it is getting faster everytime we throw something new at it.

Next test & tune should have this cars name on it!

Here is the reality of running the car:

1. Driveshaft yoke is to small for transmission, leaking oil everywhere. Can not order the right driveshaft until the new K-member is installed and measurements are taken.
2. IMRC is not wired in, wont run properly with them hooked up...part of the tune.
3. Car has zero gauges....water, oil, tach etc.
4. Still need to install front and rear hood pins.
5. Switches for headlights and tail lights need hooked up.
6. Brake switch needs hooked up.
7. Transmission Overdrive lockout needs a pushbutton.
8. Shifter needs to be secured to transmission tunnel, loose in car.
9. Brakes need bled.
10. Wiring under and inside car needs to be secured.

The car is moving along nicely and most of these problems are easily solved with very few dollars. The biggest requirement is the AJE parts that will allow us to measure out the driveshaft. Once the parts arrive, the K-Member can be installed in two days.

Thanks for all the positive comments and I'm pushing to make a test and tune before I leave on 17Jun.
