one thing about electric powered cars, there is no power curve. it's instant power once the pedal is pushed down. there is no peak horse / torque at xxxx rpm's. it's straight full power.
downside?
most of them weigh a f*ckton. and if not, good luck going far with the vehicle set up to perform peak at all times. that and they cost a lot. why we haven't seen that many performance electric cars on the road.
Top Gear is my favorite show, I watch it every Monday on BBC America. Last week they shot a rocket powered Mini off a ski Jump!
The Shelby GT is Richard Hammond's personal car, it shows up from time to time. I'm stoked, it looks like mine....
Usually about 5:00 pm they do last weeks show and 6:00 is the current one, also you can get it @ BBC America on demand... the show is crazy, those guys have the best job in the world.
