C&L intake manifold update! They are almost ready!!

Well just got a email with two pictures that are worth 1000 words to me!! Lee Bender from C&L has been working on the new intake manifold for the 2005-2009 mustang now for nearly 3 years. The guys at C&L have put a ton of hard work and money into this to bring a product to market that is both top quality and affordable for a nice power increase. The C&L manifolds are not new news to most of you. They have been advertising these for some time now. But we are in the midst of the last couple of weeks before they are released!!!
Im supposed to see one here at our shop next week in time to get it on my car and test it out on the dyno and at the track for JDM Day. Im working on getting my car ready for a 10 sec ET and i know that this manifold is a big part of the recipe! These new manifolds flow an average of each runner between 325-330 CFM!!! Thats a huge increase over stock. With this kind of air flow increase you can expect huge gains on supercharged/ turbocharged and higher horespower NA applications. On cars that are mostly stock there should still be a nice power increase but certainley with increased airflow to the manifold you will see a bigger improvement in power gain.
We are going to be doing testing here with different throttle bodies between stock, a gt500, and a single blade. We are going to be doing the same tests here ourselves as well as with the IMRC plates installed and deleted.
The finish of these manifolds is amazing, they really do look awesome and i know with all the fit and finish work that Lee has been doing they are going to be a very nice clean install. Im very excited to get mine next week and start testing with it. Ill be sure to share information here as i can. Here are the pics i was sent for now....
