The C&L Racer Intake has one of the highest airflow rates of any aftermarket intake. The Racer Intake has a 7% airflow increase over the C&L Street Intake, and an amazing 95% increase in airflow over the stock air intake. This increase in airflow over the C&L Street kit shows great benefits in high horsepower and supercharged applications. The Racer intake improves airflow through the use of a high quality injection molded intake tubing. This tubing has a 95mm opening, compared to an 83mm opening on the Street intake tubing. The kit also comes with a larger matching MAF housing, which is CNC machined out of high quality aluminum. Since the kit uses a plastic intake tubing, it is extremely light, which is great for taking off as much weight off the front end as possible. To make things as easy as possible for the end user, they have worked closely with Diablosport to offer a simple computer adjustment and tuning option for the 2007?2008 Mustang GT.
