HMMM hope that truck is faster than the roush with S/C I killed one of them at Qualcom. I have two bottles, and a 3rd if I need it.... lol. The 05 s/c car is not going to touch me out of hole Gibs. You are looking at 4:10's w/stick vs. Auto car with 3.27's It wont have a chance out of the hole... He is going to have to chase me down unless he gets a more agresive tune or possibly a stall. The highest I have ever launched my car is 2300 RPM as well I cant wait to see what it will do at 4500 RPM

Phil is going to beat me, I already know it. I'm old and my reaction time is slower than his (if that's even possible). Besides, to be completely hones, I have NEVER been down the strip before. Well, I have but on motorcycles, but that was 25 years ago (Firebird Raceway, Phoenix).

I'm doing this for fun. But if by some stroke of luck I win, just think how Phil will feel being beat by a disabled guy twice his age!

It'll be fun and that's why I'm doing it.

Remember what I posted "I wanna race Phil just one time".

Just once! Just so I can say I did it.

To be honest, I'm afraid of blowing up a $42K investment that only has 6000 miles on it!

From a stop light UPHILL. I imediately pulled 1 length on her and she held steady with me to about 75 then I started to pull away slowly until we got to 100 and shut it down........

Might be able to keep it close. I would lose due to not having track time under my belt though most likely.
