CANTON Expansion Tank?

ok i bought one it didnt come with instructions because it bolts right up to stock put riight where the cap goes is a outlet it came with a tag and said do not block. do i really just leave it like that? wont it spray all over my engine?

no buy a hose and clamp to put on it and run it down to the ground.
if you see my pictures i ahve one also. the original radiator cap had a built in pressure release that realeases on the tank the canton uses a normal radiator cap and has the outlet o realease the pressure

I will try to take some good photos of it for you tommorrow. and no it doesnt go anywhere.

unless your car is overheating it never drains from there.

If you car had the stock overflow tank when it over flows the coolant spills on the top of the tank.

just by a hose to go on the fitting and run it to the bottom of the radiator to drain on the ground if your car ever over heats

and i was worried how it would look at first nut it looks fine

but i always thought the rule was never open the cap because it will spill out form the pressure because its hot?

Dude said the same thing. I have mine exactly how he said and it never leaks out. I had a problem getting all the air out of the system though.

james i had the very same prob except i left the auto hobby shop got on the highway and car jumped up in temp to i pulled over right where there 163 divides and got towed back to the base and BJ rescued me by teaching me how to burp the system
