That sounds like a great event! I am def going to try to make this one concidering the cause. Its very stressfull having a child that is handicapped. To those members that dont know I have twins with CP. Though its not bad its not a good thing. I am very thankfull that the navy and tri care take care of my family. I also use the regional center as well as CCS ( california children service) to help out. I cant imagine being with out Tricare. Perents use the Ronald Mc. house when there kids are in the hospital for suregerys ect. When I was stationed in Lemoore the Madera Childrens hospital where my kids where seen had a R.M. house where parents stayed. I wish Balboa had something set up like this for parents. I stayed by my daughters bedside holding her hand last week for two nights while she got her operation. Racheal got suregery on her groin area and hamstrings. They went in and did laser sergury to cut the muscles and stretch them. She is in cast on both legs from hips down with a mop stick at ankles to hold her legs apart.
Guy I cannot stress this enough what a great cause this is as well as a good benifit for the familys that have children that need these funds. Its a great way to put a smile on a kids face, get W.Stangs name out in a good positive way, and help familys. You really dont realize how stress full it can be having a kid that needs special services ect. Lets try to get all the chapters involved on this cruise. I will be taking my twins to this event!

been gone for nearly the whole day, thought there'd be more of a response to this. come on ws... this is for a good cause. i know some people in the central valley were willing to drive up to redding (6 hours) just to go to a 1/4 mile track. why not this?

seems like something both northern and southern cali ws chapters can get in on to easily take a club participation award if they have it. also, it's a ways away, so it's not like it's springing up on us too soon. it's during a time of the year where car events may be a bit slower, so it's not like we'll be strapped to miss an event cause of this show.

let's see if we can make this happen. :)
