Caught a beat down

Okay after all the luck I have been having with the FOX I finally caught the bad end of a beat down. It had to happen, just as I was feeling decent about the car. As you know it has the cam, the heads, the intake, the pulleys, the headers, exhaust, throttlebody, and the ac delete kit. So it moves fairly well. I am use to the War Donkey so I havent been fair to the FOX but when it came down to racing I was winning so I guess it is fairly fast. Anyway I was feeling good about it and cruising to work when a guy pulls up next to me in a 94-96 camaro z28 it sounded mean but i figured exhaust wasnt enough to stop me. Well we went for it and lets just say after the dust cleared and he was nowhere around I felt dumb. I caught up to him and we pulled into a gas station. This thing is amazing. He said dont feel bad you didnt do as bad as the last mustang I raced. I had to give him props on the car and for getting my vision unblurred I am gettin that supercharger this week, and my gears installed and my clutch. Plus the new radiator water pump and upper and lower intake manifolds. I got his number so when I am done we can go at it again. The car was awsome I give him so much respect and he was very cool about it not all big headed. Well the big loss had to happen sooner than later right?

Hey Jim it goes into paint April 11th. So I am waiting to get the pics. Right now I am trying to get the hood on, and the wing on, so when it goes to paint it will be painted all together. After paint I will take pics but now it is your normal 87 GT FOX, There is nothing wrong with the paint now just the normal fade for a 21 year old car, but I am picky. Well friend I will have a pic soon for you, and I hope the decals get to you sooner. Damn snail mail.

Damn, I hate having to wait for big stuff for the car... I am gonna have a hood, quarter window scoops, a 2.5 inch chin spoiler and a rear bumper cover painted in May, but I need to save a few bucks for the 2.5 inch cowl hood. Btw, Dennis, we did get mail today, and no decals... I think the mail biotch stole 'em and stuck 'em on her Pinto or something. But at least the flood waters have receded out where we live, so I took the car out today for some fresh gas and to blow the cobwebs out of the combustion chambers. Let's just say I had some fun...:D See my newest post over in Street/Track Encounters.
