Central Valley Car Show!!

Hello all, I am in the initial stages of planning and coordinating my first car show. Its kind of early but I want to get a head start on it. The Central Valley chapter is going to host a car show to benefit Toys For Tots this X-mas. I have collected toys for this and have attended similiar car shows but have never hosted one. If Emilio or anyone else that has hosted or helped to plan a car show has any pointers or advice please post them. Thanks in advance.

Some of my plans include of course having Marines and Sailors present to collect the toys. Inviting other local area car clubs as well as doing other advertising. Getting sponsors to help pay for the show IE trophies and raffle prizes. Possibly a DJ depending on location and expected number of people at the show. Plan to have it at either Walmart or Target parking lots (easy access for people to buy toys and donate them). Thinking of having the registration fee be a toy donation. Sound good??
