I did and had it fixed the next day. I found a guy that had 2 stage 2 half shafts, and 1 stock one. I just bought the stock one for 125.00 just to get back on the road. The 2 stage 2s needs new boots so the stocker was my best option. Only took about 45 minutes once we had all the tools we needed.

Maybe your car looks like a 13 sec car on them jackstands:lol:....I have a quick car but will be turning focus to road racing and not the straight line stuff.

You should bring it to Willow for a run, we have a blue fox body there looking to give more lessons. He races bowties...especially ZO6's all day and leaves them in the rear view mirror. Have fun with him.

i have a solid axle lined up. i am going to buy it but i dont now if i want to swap it out or not. if my car was just going to be a drag car then i wouldnt think twice about it. but the irs is so smooth. and i like the twisties too. and i have been reading up on it and most of the guys that have done the swap wish that they didnt.

The ones that say they love it do not do the twisties. I would gaurantee it. Most of the people that say just do the swap have never driven nor even ridden in a Cobra to compare. There is more of a difference than most think.

Im more so just going to be doing HPDE's. Im nowhere near ready to turn it into an all out T1 car or something like that. Stock for stock though, good luck keeping up with a Z.

i've rode in a Fangs99's cobra a ton when he had his IRS and a bit since the SRA swap and comfort isn't that much of a difference and even with out a rear sway bar it still handles pretty damn well, i say swap

There's either Fontana which is a 1/4 mile track, or Irwindale being an 1/8 mile track. Tracks are only about 35 miles apart
