what a waste.. i just dont under stand how the goverment has no money but they car throw 4500 dollars at a good running car or truck just to blow it up and crush it!!!

this is one of the worst decisions the country ever made. lets give out money we dont have to people who have a good running car so they can go out and buy a "more efficient" car that they cant afford and put them into debt.

no kidding right... I think the cars should have to burn oil not run or fail smog other wise your stuck with it..

on another note this cfc really put a hurting on the smog program they work so hard to setup.. so lets take 250,000 cars off the road that pass smog and leave the pieces of shits that dont.. now the small busniess men that run smog shops are hurting even more because now there is 250,000 less car to smoke for the next 6 years... until the cars that were just bought need it...

I dont think this was thought out very well and i think Mavrick was right... CFC is to pay back the debt to china in "scrap" metal... I mean why blow the engine... why not sell it to some one that needs it... **** that V10 would have been awesome engine justins Knocking GT!! lol

Everything Obama has done so far has been a BAD IDEA, ONE AFTER ANOTHER. My God...its not even been a year yet and he added $2 trillion to the national deficit and rising.

Well as someone had stated it is a good time to get into the repo business....the reason alot fo these people had the cars they traded was because they couldnt afford anything new........Now they can.....ummmmm probably not. I didnt know that 4500 spread out over a 5-6 year loan would make or break a deal.....LOL as in they can or cant afford it.

As far as the program, the cars were not discounted that much off sticker so in all reality......if you negotiated well, you could get them down several thousand or more....
