Both are kinda messy. The rear end just loosen all the bolts take the bottom out. And pull i out to crack the seal it will all poor out. When its only streaming pull the whole cover. Put a new seal with some gasket sealer good as new. To fill the rear end ther is a nut on the front of the rear end should be on left. The tranny I did same way just loosend bolts then dropped the corner down. Pulled the pan cleaned it all up and re sealed it. I had a auto in my fox I just used a thin funnel and filled it from dip stick tube. Hope this helps. That is how I did it anyway.

I dont think cobras came in automatics phil. Its just a drain plug on the bottom off the tranny if its a manual. then there is a fill plug on the passenger side of the trans, you may need a hand pump to suck the oil out of the bottle.... should be Dextron III ATF.... Royal purple works great....

when i replaced my clutch, i changed my tranny fluid... draining it was easy as can be, but i noticed trying to fill it up it, the fill hole was sort of in an ackward position. so after trying to struggle hand pumping it in, i decided just to take off my shifter and pour it in through there... took all of 5 minutes.

no problem man any time...

now back to the whole removing the shifter stuff...personally, i try to keep from taking the interior apart as much as i can... even if its one plastic piece, thats how you get raddles..... and anyone that has owned a mustang before will tell you it doesn't take much for the mustangs to be raddle buckets....
