Charity Car Show at Foster Freeze-Nov. 15th

Please support this email I received from Joven, organizer for the former Breakfast at Balboa. This is what we are all about, Lets rally behind this family that needs our help.



"There is a 3 month old girl who has Craniosynostosis. She will need surgery to cut her skull and reset the plates to help allign her skull to look more NORMAL. The parents are trying to raise $6,000 by putting on a car show out in front of the Froster Freeze at 5129 Waring Rd. in Allied Gardens (Gearhead Rendevous location).

The deal is, a $20 dollar donation, no trophys, no judging, just a community gathering for this special event. It is on different web sites now. The news media has been informed and it will turn into a BIG deal. This event is from 10am to 4 pm for those who want to stay around.

Green Clean will sponsor 3 trophys fir 1st 2nd and 3rd place.
Please come and support this event...."

If you are plan on coming. We will meet at Bennigan's and plan on leaving and cruising to Foster Freeze at 8:45am.

I find it odd I can't find any articles about this. Why didn't the family get ahold of the media to advertise? TV News would have went nuts about this

Yes I do feel the same, I would be there in a heartbeat. But like I said the media had something like that today, a woman even fooled her husband that she had breast cancer. But she didn't, and many many people gave money up to 10's of thousands to help. She went and had a breast implant surgery done with all that money. I do love to help but I would like it to go to someone who really needs it. Heck my family has parties for someone who has a "birthday", when in reality we found out it's to help that person with their bills. We don't go to those "parties" anymore.

So, we need to come to a consensus on this... I had a baby sister who died from this particular condition (she lived about 2 hours after birth)... I would be very VERY upset if this was bogus.. Is there any way to confirm? if it is not bogus I want to help out, if it is bogus I do not. Nes'pa?

Well, I can't tell you whether it is legit or not. But if Joven posted this, I will say its legit. I doubt Joven would post something that is not legit and ruin his reputations. He is the person that organized the Breakfast at Balboa.
I can't tell you guys to go or not. You will all have to make up your own mind. But that is just my thought. I'm not going to be showing mine since its down. But if anyone decides to go, I'll go too to show support.
