Classic Car Cruise Nights-Encinitas

Spring Valley, CA
"Rods and Woodies has changed its name to Classic Car Cruise Nights, but its still the same cool show.

On Thursday July 16th I've been asked to host the show again and bring together as many kick ass Mustangs as I can...that's where I need you!

The show officially kicks off at 5:30 now but we still need to park the cars beforehand so arriving between 4:30-5pm would be optimum if you can. The reason being that space in this staging area is limited and it will be first come first serve. However there will be plenty of street parking (which also lessens as the night moves on) and if you do for some reason come late do swing by the Smog Shop parking lot to see if we still have a spot for your stang.

The band playing that evening will be E Z pieces and there are a ton of places to eat and drink; in fact if anyone is down to head down somewhere to eat we can all walk down somewhere. Beachside Bar and Grill is pretty good and usually has plenty of seating if we decide to go kind of early.

So please sound off and let me know if you are coming and which stang you are brining; since it is a classic show I would like a good mix of stangs of all years."

Classic cars will park along Highway 101 between "D" Street and the Lumberyard for public display. This year there will be live music in front of Encinitas Smog at 682 S. Coast Hwy 101.

Anybody interested in going to this? The only thing is, according to his post, the cars needs to be there by 4:30pm, due to limited space. But if I let the organizer know how many is coming, he may be able to save us spots. This is going to be on 7/16, Thursday. Let me know so I can get a head count for him. I'm thinking we may have to leave Mission Valley by 4pm at the latest to get there, if not earlier.

The organizer wants to know how many cars will be going and he will try to save us some spots, we have to be there by 4:30pm. Plus it will be a nice cruise to Encinitas. The goal is for 20 Mustangs. There are 14 signed up from the sight. They had 30 Mustangs last year.

BTW.....I believe SoCalStang.com is the host for this day's event.

For those that wants to go, we will meet at the Bennigan's/Bank of America parking lot in Mission Valley Mall. This is on the Seau's Restaurant side. Plan departure will be 3:45pm.

I will need a head count if you are interested to go. The organizer will try to save us some parking spots. But I will need to let him know before the show date. Show spaces are limited.
