clutch gone

on the 9th i was driving to the m3 show in pomona well i down shifted in to 4th and atemptid to pass a car well all it did was red line i thought i missed it i put it back in 5th and nothing i cost off the freeway in to a gas station tried every gear let the clutch all the way out the car went know where well just today i got a heir up my but i started the car put it in gear slowly let out the clutch and it started to grab but there is a metal on metal sound coming from the clutch any one have a idia what happin oil on the clutch maby where would the oil come from

Is it making any noise with the clutch disengaged? In neutral

hmmmmmmm just bee sticking when its engaging/disengaging might have to check the cables to see if they need to be adjusted.

If you're getting metal to metal when you engage the transmission, then the problem is more than likely in the tranny and not the clutch. I doubt that you sheared a clutch pad, but it is possible. You need to get the car in the air and have someone listen under the car as you let the clutch out.

well i pulled the car apart got to the tranny and a bolt is rounded off and i can not get it off im F IN SOL what can i do

Where is the bolt? You could try an extractor, or pound a good hard impact socket onto the head... you also might wanna try some wd40 or heating to loosen them up first.
